If you know a useful and interesting web site on astronautics, spacecraft systems, and spacecraft technology, or if you can help to repair the missing link, please e-mail the URL to Mike. Thank you!

Please keep in mind that this is a "professional" web site providing technical information for space scientists, engineers, students, and those interested in astronautics and space technology. We do not link to popular science sites.

If you would like to suggest a publication for inclusion in the book list, please e-mail to Mike the title, authors, publisher, and year. Thank you!

Web site history

I started this web site on April 12, 1996.
Number of visitors in April 1996 - August 1997: 23000+.

The counter was restarted in September 1997.

Some time in the late 2000 we had the 100,000-th visitor.

The web site was highlighted in Physics Today and listed as a site of the week by SpaceViews.

The web site format was substantially modified in February 2001.

The site was moved to a new (current) host at AstronauticsNow.com in April 2005. It had 250,000+ hits at that time.
